Bijson Acidification & Methanation Process” (BAMP)..(Biogas Plant)

Bijson Bio-Gas Plant :: Cooking gas from kitchen waste.

Bijson Biogas is a part of of BIJSON Group having its presence in many sectors including Renewal Energy. Taking a further step in the Renewal Energy Sector, Bijson has developed a unique technology called “Bijson Acidification & Methanation Process” (BAMP) to manage & generate energy from domestic food waste & waste water. Based on BAMP technology a portable & ready to use “BioGas Plant” is offered which can be installed even at the household level to get Cooking Gas from Kitchen waste instantly.

BAMP is based on series of natural Bio-Chemical reactions which goes in Biogas plant where the good bacteria break down organic materials in the absence of air to produce “Biogas”. This gas contains mainly Methane & Carbon dioxide.
Biogas thus obtained can be used directly for cooking purposes, and can replace the use of LPG in Kitchen. It is estimated that it can save up to 35-50% of current LPG Bills. One can get the gas on a daily basis by just putting his domestic organic waste into this plant. Larger System can also be installed at hostels, restaurants, hospitals, messes, temples, factory canteens or vegetable marketplaces to run generators to get Electricity after cleaning this biogas. The BAMP System also prevents the uncontrolled release of Methane from decomposition of garbage. (Methane is a Green House Gas which is 40 times more harmful than Co2,  in global warming).

The portable domestic BAMP biogas plant is designed to treat organic household food waste,  rather than Cattle dung as in conventional Biogas plants. The main feedstock for BAMP bio-gas plant is leftover cooked food, peels of fruits & vegetables or other organic waste generated in kitchen on a daily basis. Waste water like water used for cleaning vegetables, pulses, rice or even waste water from domestic RO system can be used as feedstock.  No extra culture or enzymes is required on a daily basis to get biogas.

Food waste is simply mixed with the waste water in a bucket & poured into the inlet of the Biogas plant. Biogas is gradually collected in the gas holder as the waste decomposes and a pipe is used to take it to a special biogas stove in the kitchen. A valve is used to open & shut the flow and regulate the flame. The effluent from the plant is virtually odorless and nutrient rich manure with high contents of Nitrogen, Phosphorous & potassium, which can be used as a garden fertilizer.
The BAMP biogas plant is combination of vessels consists of a gas holder drum floating over a pre-cast FRP digester tank. An inlet pipe along with inlet pocket is also attached to the digester tank. Outlet pipe is slightly above the level of the inlet hole on the other side of the plant. A water seal is used in all domestic as well as institutional plants to insure the working of BAMP technology. All parts of the plant are prefabricated of FRP which not only makes it possible for technicians to install a plant in about 4-6 hours only but also ensures the long life of the plant.

Bijson group will take up the training program for the prospective buyers of the plant before the installation. They will be provided with a simple Do’s & Don’t Handbook for future reference. Not only that, our technicians will visit each new customer every four months for the first year, free of cost in order to ensure that the plant is running smoothly.
